Integration of Sicep alarm control panels for Smart Home and automation with Yubii-compatible products

QuickApp integration enables communication between Sicep alarm control panels and Yubii gateways: via the Z-Wave radio connection, you can control a range of Smart Home automation devices, such as actuators for operating roller shutters and blinds, switching lights and plugs on and off, and activating scenes – all via the SICEP app.

How it works:

The Nice Yubii hub can only be paired with devices purchased through the Sicep sales network.

Both the Nice Yubii hub and the Sicep control unit must be connected to the same LAN network (wired or Wi-Fi).

Logical functions and physical elements of the Sicep control unit (“widgets”) can be used as conditional elements to trigger actions on the Yubii system, or a condition on the Yubii system can trigger the action of one or more Sicep widgets.

The Sicep system widgets that can be used with the Yubii system are:

·        Wired inputs

·        Wired outputs

·        Status of wireless magnetic contacts

·        Motion status of indoor or outdoor wireless sensors

·        Programmable events

·        Scenarios

Installation of the integration:

·       With the Sicep and Nice Yubii systems active and connected, download the QuickApp integration.

·       From the Nice Yubii configuration page, import the .fqax file: menu Settings, section Devices, button Add, tab Other Device, command Upload File.

·       A new Sicep device will be added to the list of existing devices. Access the configuration and select the “Sicep” icon.

·       Under “Variables”, configure:

o   IP address of the Sicep control unit, either static or via hostname in the case of DHCP

o   Port: 8003

o   Password: enter the password defined for the Yubii system

·       Once confirmed, the Yubii Gateway synchronises with the Sicep control unit and downloads all shared widgets.
