Samsung TV [IR]

• How to configure

To use that device you need to access your Home Center at your browser, and go to:

Settings > Devices > Click at the "+" blue icon, at the top right corner > Other Devices > Upload File

At General Tab of the device select Role "TV", category "Multimedia", and select the Icon you wish (there is already a default TV icon on the gateway, you can select it)

1. Configure the "ip" and "port" variables of this QuickApp, to do so click on "Close" in the lower right corner, and then click on the "Variables" tab of this QuickApp.
• Keep the "ip" name of the variable, change only its value, with the IP of your IR emitting device
• Also change the "port" variable, set the TCP port used in your sender to the value, most common products:
  • Blastbot: 9999
  • Global Caché: 4998 

2. Also configure the strings to be sent to your sender, in the example below the strings to send commands to Samsung brand TV were configured, if you use another brand, you must learn the command and insert it between quotation marks " " in the code below so that the entire string turns blue.

    Also note that depending on the IR device, the structure of the String may be different.

    Blastbot uses the following structure:

   Remembering that the number after the colon(:) is the Global Caché emmiter port (P2 female jack)
