Requirements
- A Nilan Heat Pump equipped with the CTS602 controller (most likely if produced after 2020). Up-to-date firmware.
- An RS485-TCP gateway to connect the CTS602 to your LAN network. Recommended devices include the ELFIN EE11A and EW11A models. Read the instructions for correct wiring and setup.
- Fibaro Home Center version 3 or Lite or greater
Installation Steps
- Download the CTS602 QuickApp from here or from the official source.
- Log into your Fibaro Home Center as an Admin.
- Navigate to Settings -> Devices -> Add device.
- Choose "Other Device" and upload the QuickApp file with the .fqax extension.
- Configure the QuickApp by setting the appropriate variables, such as the host IP and port number of your RS485-TCP gateway.
- If you see data coming from your device in the Main App, then the hardware configuration was successful.
- Get license key for your QuickApp instance (see licensing manual) and copy it to the license_key variable.
Licensing
After setting a valid license key you will see 9 more QuickApps created, and you can control all the settings of your QuickApp from Fibaro Homecenter dashboard or Yubi mobile App. These ChildApps include three different accessibility levels (Admin, User and Guest) for the three subsystems: Ventilation, Heat Pump and Domestic Hot Water.
License key for the CTS602 QuickApp is available for purchase at an introductory price of €150, a 50% discount from the regular €300 price. To obtain a license key, ensure your Home Center and Nilan machine are connected properly, install the QuickApp, configure it as described above and fill the license request form.
