Type Virtual Device
Functions
Virtual Device that allows to control a Bang&Olufsen BeoSound Core or Essence. It mimics the Essence remote control.
API is based on the official Bang&Olufsen APP, so probably more BeoSound products should be supported. Please note that this virtual device does not utilize a BeoLink Gateway (BLGW), so that is not required!
It is recommended to give the BeoSound product a static IP-address.
Configuration
- IP-address of the BeoSound Core/Essense in Virtual Device. (Port should be 8080)
- The ID of the sources in the Source-Buttons. The ID's of the sources can be found through the URL below. Netlink-sources are also supported, to activate multiroom.
- http://<beosound-ip>:8080/BeoZone/Zone/ActiveSources

Hi, is it possible to get button on VD to definitely turn off BeoSound as it is when You hold down stop button on essence remote? This is the only feature that I miss. Best regards
