Here is a QA for Anthem Receivers which use the standard TCP socket communication method.
I have built and tested this around my own installation and so you will need to input your own details. QA variables for the IP and Port are provided and these need to match the details in the Network Configuration menu of the AVR.
NOTE: I had a lot of trouble with the socket closing and then refusing future connections. I believe that the receivers have two IP and MAC addresses available:
1 - The AVR address under the Network Configuration Menu
2 - The Play-Fi address which is setup through the wifi connection.
It is important that these are different and also you probably need to reserve the IP for the AVR in your router.
Also you will need to setup your Input details as the QA here is setup for my installation.
Hope this can help someone!
